**Warehouse Lead**
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This individual will ensure that all warehouse operations are running smoothly and efficiently, as well as monitor inventory levels to ensure that orders are being filled.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that employees are complying with company safety policies, are trained and performing their duties in a safe manner while maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
The Warehouse Lead will also be responsible for overseeing the safety of the warehouse by enforcing company safety policies and procedures, as well as providing feedback to management regarding safety issues. The warehouse lead ensures safety is a number one priority through effective daily communications and action plan execution with warehouse employees.
**Responsibilities**
Warehouse Coordination:
- Responsible for daily warehouse coordination
- Keep warehouse organized and clean according to company’s rules and expectations
- Maintain a safe work environment in the warehouse to enforce health and safety
policies and regulations in the workplace
- Responsible for coordinating of inventory count
- Check toolboxes daily to make sure the contents match the toolbox checklist
- Make sure equipment is charged and ready to be sent to the job sites
- Make sure vehicles are parked in designated sports in the warehouse
- Coach, lead and mentor all warehouse employees for frame build and warehouse procedures
- Manage cardboard, garbage, and scrap metal runs when required
Shipping & Receiving:
- Unload and receive containers and other deliveries, check for damages, label
products
- Responsible for receiving and verifying accurate count of all incoming products
- Perform inventory control and submit damaged material reports
- Stock organization by ensuring materials are allocated to designated areas
- Prepare and pack orders for shipping according to the Work Orders
- Ensure orders are packed safely and strapped when needed
- Keep track of consumables inventory: shirts, earplugs, gloves etc.
Frame Build & Assembly:
- Build frames according to work orders and assembly guides
- Plan, schedule frame build to ensure of orders are ready on time
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of quality control
Occupational Safety:
- Support and promote Occupational Health & Safety Program
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
- Act as the primary point of contact for the areas of responsibility, collaborate with operational personnel, and ensure hazards and risks are identified, reported, and managed.
- Participate in JOHS meetings, arrange and conduct safety meetings on site
- Conduct hazard assessments, document site safety inspections
- Assist in the development and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents based on existing materials
- Organize and conduct training programs including but not limited to: WHMIS, Personal Protective Equipment, CPR/First Aid
- Taking part in any other related projects or tasks as needed
- Assisting with producing in-house products (fabrication)
**Qualifications**:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Able to operate a forklift
Able to operate a small PAB Machine (pallet jack)
Able to work efficiently (must be able to multitask)
Have 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
Must have good time management skills and professionalism in order to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must have strong communication skills in order to effectively manage people and maintain positive working relationships.
Must be able to read English in order to effectively communicate with other team members, management, customers, and other employees.
To have a strong work ethic, and be capable of sustaining physical activity for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift
To be able to learn new tasks and follow instructions
To be able to perform repetitive work with accuracy and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
