**Responsibilities**:

- Review incoming orders and prepare printing files
- Set up and adjust machines according to job specifications
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Do finishing work on print materials as needed to meet the order (e.g. cut, trim and weed)
- Ensure timely completion of print jobs and meet production deadlines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Note that this job may require you to lift heavy objects and can include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a print operator or in a similar role preferred
- Previous experience with large format printing (e.g. banners, signs) preferred
- Previous experience with large format machines (roll-to-roll, flatbed printers, graphtec/HP vinyl cutters) preferred
- Understanding of graphics, colours, and digital formats/softwares (e.g. PDF, AI, PSD) preferred
- Familiarity with different types of printing processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications
- Experience with finishing processes is a plus

**Education**:

- High school diploma or GED OR relevant experiences

This is a full-time position at a small growing company with possibility for overtime. You will be working in a small workshop with 1-3 others. As such, communication skills are essential to ensure the least amount of errors and misunderstandings.

On-job training will be provided. You may be required from time to time to assist in other printing tasks based on demand.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
