**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all underground utilities are correctly laid and backfilled to proper grade and alignment.
- Calculate grades/slopes and check them for conformance to requirements using levels or lasers.
- Display professionalism toward our company, your coworkers and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, respectful work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor with or without supervision.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience in BC’s civil and residential construction industry.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience installing water, storm & sanitary pipe systems.
- Knowledge of underground utilities and water main installation.
- Excellent attention to detail.

**Working Conditions**
- Position is full-time, seasonal.
- Schedule is typically 10-12 hour days, 6 days a week.
- This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat twist, and climb heavy equipment several times throughout the day. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly and use hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job.
- This job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks on various job sites.
- Work may be performed in an environment with exposure to fuel, fumes, vapours, dust, grease, and oils, as well as loud and/or constant noise and exposure to moving equipment.
