Canada West Land has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Renewables professional to join our team in Kamloops, BC. We are seeking an individual who is forward thinking and capable of bringing in new projects, while simultaneously managing preexisting ones. If you are highly skilled when it comes to strategic planning, have strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in British Columbia and client relationship building skills, then we want to hear from you.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Direct and manage project work by avoiding or resolving derailments and communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders to maintain scope, schedule and budget
- Create high level resource plan
- Define project scope, schedule and budget and identify risks and constraints
- Assign tasks, sets deadlines, provides necessary resources, and communicate regularly with the members
- Continuously and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. Collaboration with teammates to drive efficiencies and success within the project teams
- Include data collection and verbal and written status reports
- Risk management and contingency planning to continue moving forward even when roadblocks occur
- Quality assurance and quality control
- Forecasting future resources based on project timelines and deliverables
- Foresight to utilize internal recourses including personnel and software

- Establish yearly budgets and control expenses to attain revenue goals
- Monitor booked business against budget
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and applicable stakeholders
- Develop creative solutions for existing clients, as well as pursue new opportunities within the current scope
- Manage client relationships strategically based on business and marketing objectives
- 7+ years of experience working in energy management or renewable energy fields, preferably to include 4+ years in a management capacity
- Knowledge of regulatory processes in British Columbia
- Exceptional organization and highly detail oriented individual
- Strong reputation and eager industry involvement
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Proactive, action oriented individual
- Business acumen
