**Job Description**:
As a valuable member of the Building Operations team, the Assistant Manager, Building Operations will be involved with all aspects of our building operations department. They will work closely with internal departments ensuring consistency within the facilities while enhancing team experience and maintaining relationships to deliver a premium experience for TFC, TFC Academy and our Live Team.
- Oversee BMO Training Ground day to day operations to ensure all departments are achieving our operational excellence targets
- Oversee management of TFC Seasonal Air Structure
- Responsible for completion of tasks assigned to relevant facility teams including: building security, housekeeping, carpentry, painting, plumbing, labour, engineering and maintenance
- Oversee and schedule all mechanical systems including maintenance
- Oversee preventative maintenance program and recommend new preventative maintenance items
- Advocate safe work practices and customer service as key priorities among employees and trades
- Oversee Fire Life Safety operation and maintenance
- Lead and schedule small to mid-size projects and repairs
- Maintain all aesthetics and surfaces within the facilities
- Supervise and direct facility staff members and contract staff
- Oversee outside vendors who have been awarded service contracts
- Key contact for building occupants and stake holders responsible to resolve day to day maintenance problems, ensure proper follow-up with Manager
- Assist in the design and implementation of inventory system for equipment and supplies
- Responsible for all appropriate logs and documentation
- Call in suppliers / liaise with on an as needed basis
- Operation of relevant equipment
- Prepare, distribute and track event cost estimates & expense summaries
- Generate, place and confirm rental supply, internal and external work orders are complete and signed off
- Lead by example in team management and development, utilizing a “one team” approach
- Ensure departmental professionalism and winning vision are intact
- Participate in rentals and training day set up
- Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, lighting systems, fire code requirements and understanding field techniques within a multi-purpose venue an asset
- Building Automation and HVAC training and experience with mechanical and electrical systems preferred
- Pool Certificate - CPO
- Project Management Fundamentals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCad LT, 24/7 CMMS
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
- First Aid, CPR, Defibrillation, WHMIS and
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Ability to see the big picture and strategize / plan accordingly
- Proven to perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required
- A positive, winning approach, incorporating professionalism, teamwork, integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
- Experience working in an unionized environment an asset
