Job Title:
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA - Remote and Home or Office-Based) with Foundations Speech & Language Services - Victoria, BC

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This unique position offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to provide in-home services to clients as well as to see clients in our office space.

This position would be great for behavioural interventionists, teachers and/or educational assistants, or those looking to eventually go into a program for Speech-Language Pathology.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide virtual speech therapy sessions to pediatric clients (anywhere from 18 months to 18 years old).

2. Deliver in-home or in-office speech therapy services to pediatric clients, ensuring a comfortable and effective therapeutic environment.

3. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver individualized treatment plans for clients.

4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes.

5. Provide guidance and support to clients' families to ensure effective carryover of therapy goals in the home environment.

Qualifications:
1. Experience working with kids (experience working with clients with ASD is an added bonus).

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to work independently and follow a schedule.

4. Access to a reliable vehicle for home visits.

5. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.

6. Personality traits including punctuality, reliability, playfulness, self-awareness, and determination.
