Reporting to the President, and working closely with internal & external customers, operations, service technicians, and manufacturer’s representatives, the **Sales & Operations Manager** is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of the heavy equipment sales function. This role ensures alignment between sales strategy, inventory management, customer service, and logistics to support revenue growth and operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Operations Manager leads a team of sales support personnel, parts & fabrication department, mechanics, and collaborates cross-functionally with departments such as finance, service, and supply chain.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Sales & Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Adhere to company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Develop and implement standardized sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; generate reports and insights for senior leadership.
- Manage CRM systems and ensure data integrity across customer records, leads, and opportunities.
- Direct service operations - including logistics, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and job site coordination.
- Manage Sancton Equipment project operational budgets with focus on maximizing profit without sacrifice to Safety, Quality, or Schedule.
- Collaborate with Sancton Equipment teams to forecast demand and schedule deliveries.
- Provide operational guidance to Direct Reports under your direction.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries and issues related to sales operations.
- Support dealer network with operational guidance, documentation, and system access.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in sales operations, preferably within the heavy equipment, construction, or industrial machinery sectors.
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field required.
- Strong financial planning, auditing, and budgeting skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required for report writing, customer communication and internal planning and organization.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.
