**Payment Solution Analyst (Hybrid Opportunity)**What you can expect in a typical day**:**The Payment Solutions Analyst (PSA) role maintains and supports efficient business and operating systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing payment data in support of business cases, proposed maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and system requirements.
The PSA is responsible for working with our payment vendors in a variety of facets to include reporting, data processing, updates to the environment, version updates, security certificates. As a Payment Solutions Analyst, this role leads complex business recommendations, decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives and proactively coaches and mentors across their team.

**Your roles and responsibilities**:
- Gather and refine complex business requirements.
- Recommend decisions on business requirements and interdependencies.
- Conduct impact analyses and environmental scans to prepare recommendations.
- Develops and presents complex positions and strategies for business decisions, processes, and plans.
- Advise on compliance, governance structure, and audit principles, including PCI.
- Lead business process re-engineering.
- Prepare test plans and strategies as well as conduct complex series test scenarios and validation.
- Lead payment solutions testing.
- Match testing results with the expectations from design documents.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Track and document the problem-solving process, including all decisions made and action taken, through to final resolution.
- Work with vendors and 3rd parties to resolve hardware, networking, and software issues related to payments.
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
- Maintain knowledge of upcoming features and develop/draft annual roadmap planning for area of responsibility
- Coach and mentor, a variety of employees from different teams on solutions and the pace of change.
**Professional skills**:
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and build credibility
- Deep knowledge of Project Management Methodology
- Knowledge of the business processes required to enable payment processing
- IT standards for business requirements gathering, process reengineering, and change/release management standards
- Ability to analyze data
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
**Travel**:
- Travel is not a requirement for this position.
**Education and experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Computer science, Business, or related area) or Equivalent Education training and related discipline required
- Previous Oil and Gas experience an asset
- 6+ years progressive IT experience
- Certification of competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification an asset
- ITIL/CobiT Asset
