Experienced Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for a full-time team member to help communicate Provident’s unique alarm and response services.
Based out of our Kerrisdale HQ, the vast majority of your time will be spent outside the office meeting with in-bound prospective clients in their Westside Vancouver homes and businesses.
We do not offer cookie-cutter systems. This role involves working directly with homeowners who are looking for superior security advice and custom technology solutions. We help homeowners choose between an overwhelming number of home security, smart home and automation systems to help them get the best value, with the highest level of security, possible. We do not cut corners. Anywhere.
**Provident**

**The Role**
You will be responsible for following up on incoming sales leads and delivering an exceptional first impression of Provident. You will visit home and business owners to educate them about how best to combine the latest technology with immediate response services to protect their families, homes and workplaces.
This is not a cold-calling role. This is all about working with very warm leads in the most professional and efficient manner possible.
One of our core values is to ‘build trust & confidence with every interaction’... as the first point of contact with prospective clients, it will be your job to build rapport and ensure that they feel they’ve made the right choice by giving us a call.
The vast majority of our business is upgrading existing alarms in homes and increasing their overall level of security through education as well as service.
Although experience in the alarm industry could be an asset, we do things differently and require someone who is ready to rethink what they know about delivering security to residential and commercial clients. Success in sales is a must, experience in the security industry is a bonus but not critical.
If you have the sales skills, we can teach you the security skills.
The commission structure includes a base salary as well as commission.
