Account Executive

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, this role provides the opportunity to represent LeverageTek IT Solutions to prospective organizations whom we haven’t had the opportunity to do business with (yet). The focus of this role is on the development of net new business. You are known to all as an outstanding communicator. You have a competitive streak that is only satisfied when your organization is the one signing the contract. You have an impeccable work ethic. Personal integrity is at the root of all decisions you make - your word is your bond.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve aggressive weekly/monthly targets related to prospecting activities including scheduled meetings with prospective buyers.
- Act as the single point of contact for prospective customers.
- Expand LeverageTek’s presence by continuously meeting new customers and creating new relationships.
- Initiate contact with new customers and introduce LeverageTek’s service offerings to these customers.
- Organize regular customer meetings to discuss their requirements and maintain relationships both in person and via video call.
- You will be expected to attend meetings on customer site with contacts and consultants.
- A Vehicle is required to attend in person meetings.
- Work closely with the Recruiting team to help identify key skill sets required for your territory in upcoming staffing needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with consultants while they are on site in your territory.
- Resolve customer and consultant issues and handle complaints in a timely manner.
- Commit to continuous learning by researching new technology trends and product offerings.
- Provide financial and growth forecasts for your territory.
Work Experience & Education
- Proven Sales achievement with clearly demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding Sales quota and KPIs
- Proven experience in a Hunter Sales role focused on driving revenue, generating Sales leads and converting leads to Sales
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship management acumen
- Ability to be pleasantly persistent while facing rejection with a smile on your face like only a true Sales professional can appreciate
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written (Bilingual is a definite asset)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (asset), and resume databases
