Overview:
**Duties**:

- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the shop
- Assign tasks to technicians and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Conduct quality control checks on repairs and maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Train and mentor junior staff members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in equipment and heavy truck repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Prior experience as a mechanic or in a similar role is preferred
- computer skills are a must
