**Role Overview**

A full-time opportunity for a CPA professional experienced in public companies reporting to become an integral part of the accounting and finance team. This position will report to VP Finance and will assist in various projects that relate to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting function and SOX internal controls.

This position is based in our Vancouver office and forms an integral part of our accounting and finance function for a rapidly growing company. You will be working collaboratively across our Canadian, Argentine and US-based teams supporting the financial reporting function and advancement of our projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with preparing consolidated quarterly and year-end financial statements
- Support the overseeing of financial reporting and accounting of subsidiaries and associates
- Prepare accounting memos for significant accounting transactions
- Work with internal and external auditors
- Assist with special projects (conversion of financial statements from IFRS to US GAAP, other)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Preparing management reports and presentations
- Support SOX compliance and audit
- Assist with ERP implementation
- Review of tax returns and provisions
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Currently a manager level accounting and audit professional in one of Big 4 firms (PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, EY)
- A bachelor s degree, CPA accounting designation or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with US GAAP and SOX considered an asset
- Attention to detail and strong research and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and change
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team
