As we continue to grow, we’re hiring a dependable and experienced Assistant Manager to support operations, uphold service standards, assist with quoting, and help lead our team.

Position Overview
This is a required full-time, year-round position that combines fieldwork and office administration. The Assistant Manager will oversee crews, ensure quality assurance, prepare quotes, and complete computer-based tasks such as scheduling and client communication. You must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to lead by example. This is a hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities (required)
- Manage daily operations of lawn and snow services
- Supervise and support crews across Edmonton, Sturgeon County, and surrounding areas
- Perform regular quality assurance inspections and implement improvements
- Prepare accurate quotes and service proposals for commercial clients
- Coordinate job schedules, staff routes, and track time and inventory
- Use computer systems for reporting, communication, and record keeping
- Assist with seasonal transitions and fieldwork support during peak times
- Be available for on-call duties, especially during snow events (evenings/weekends)

Qualifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping, snow removal, or related field
- Experience operating equipment such as riding mowers, skid steers, and compact loaders
- Supervisory or assistant management experience
- Experience quoting commercial services
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required
- Flexibility for on-call and after-hours work during snow events required

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
