**Butter Baker is hiring for a Kitchen Assistant position.**

**Position Summary**:
The Kitchen Assistant position will be responsible for assisting the team with the preparation of food and other activities in the kitchen.
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant considered to be an asset but not needed
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Energetic and positive
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Possess basic food handling and preparation knowledge
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Preparing all ingredients for all dishes

**Job description**

Butter Baker is a Toronto based French bakery that is known for making the finest croissants, cakes, pastries and ice cream using classic French confectionery cookery and techniques. **Location: 120 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON**

**Position Description: 2 full time/ part time/ kitchen assistants**

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment, perform basic math and communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain good customer service skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$16.99 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
