Vancouver Language Therapy 4 Kids (VLTK) is excited to welcome a new contract Speech-Language Pathologist to our growing team

We are a community based private practice with a collaborative team of SLP’s and Communicative Disorders Assistant's. We see clients ages: preschool/early childhood, school aged, & teen. We provide individualized and comprehensive assessments as well as unique collaborative treatment programs for each of our clients based on a multi-disciplinary and family centred approach. This position is primary community based work that requires travel around Vancouver, but some will be in office/clinic. Start date is flexible.

The successful applicant has the option to design the VLTK service based on their special interest areas You'll build your caseload when you start but we already have a few clients on a wait list

The role will be a contract SLP taking 50% of treatment income. This stands right now at $85/hour - if we increase our prices your salary will increase as well.

**Duties**:

- Conduct SLP assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the child's individual needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions unique to the child's individual needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the child
- Monitor and document the child's progress throughout the treatment process
- Provide education and support to children and their families
- You do the clinical work you love where our admin team manages all of the marketing, admin, billing, and office tasks outside of your sessions
- Required Qualifications:_
- Master’s level degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Must be Registered with the College of Speech & Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC).
- SAC Certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of discipline specific best practices in assessment and intervention with children aged with speech-language &/or developmental delays.
- Experience working with social pragmatic language therapy as well as experience with emerging executive functioning skill development is an asset.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Registration or eligibility to be registered on the RASP List ( Registered Autism Service Providers List).
- Travel is required to schools and home visits - Valid BC Drivers Licence and car is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to Family Centred Care.
