**Administrative Assistant, Underwriting**:
**Location: Hybrid - Ontario**

Empire life is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant, Underwriting to join our Group Operations team

**What you’ll be working on**- Receive, review and process requests to quotes, and amendments within established turnaround times- Work with the underwriting team to process requests to quote and amendments for groups- Complete manual rate calculations if required- Support the underwriting team in the analysis of renewals for small cases- Work collaboratively with other team members to support processing requirements- Provide general administrative support to the underwriting team

**What we’re looking for you to have**:
- Combination of education or experience in data analytics, design & system thinking, business analytics, finance or economics would be an asset- Superior customer relations skills- Previous work experience in group insurance/financial services is an asset- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to navigate a CRM platform- Interested in working towards FLMI, GBA, or CEBS designations-
- Ability to work independently and as a team member- Creative problem solver / data-based root cause solution bias- Well-developed mathematical, writing, keyboarding, editing, and proof-reading skills- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects within tight deadlines- Attention to detail/accuracy- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset**Beyond the salary**:
