**Summary**: We are a growing company in an interesting and challenging segment of the insurance industry and are always looking for talented individuals to join our Business Insurance team.

**Essential Functions/Principal Responsibilities**:

- Process and review policy declarations for New Business, Renewals, & Endorsements.
- Handle invoices, certificates of insurance and other documents as required.
- Follow up renewal status with insurers and issue renewal offers for agency bill policies.
- Submit binding requests for agency bill renewal accounts and endorsements.
- Negotiate terms/pricing/policy conditions with underwriters.
- Managing abeyances and expiry lists.
- Assist to remarket policy to other insurance carriers if required.
- Other duties and responsibilities, as necessary, directed by the team leader.

- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work independently & in a team setting
- Excellent attention to details and organizational skills to ensure timeliness and quality of underwriting development
- Achieve a standard of excellence with work processes and outcomes, honoring company policies and regulatory compliance
- Is receptive to feedback, adaptable to change, has a desire to learn, and embraces continuous improvement
- Work well under stress and tight deadlines
- Team oriented, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- English and Mandarin & Cantonese an asset.

**Probation Period**: 3 Months

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED required, with some college or 1-3 yrs related experience
- RIBO license, CIP or CAB an asset but not required
- Proficient on Epic and Applied rating system
- Experience with multiple markets
