**Job Title: Operations Manager**
**Reports to: Store General Manager**
The Operations Manager is a key leader in the store, responsible for overseeing the Backroom, SFS, Receiving, and overall Store Processes while embodying Game Ready principles. Reporting to the Store General Manager, this role manages all facets of the Warehouse shipping and receiving functions and E-Commerce fulfillment, driving retail operational excellence through leadership, coaching, and hands-on support. You will lead with passion, embodying the principles of the Game Ready Program, which is built on the same values that guide high performing teams in sports: preparation, consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Your Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:
- Create an environment where the customer is at the centre of what we do.
- Ensure sales staff maintain high service standards, offering personalized product recommendations and support.
- Model customer service for associates and promote sales whenever interacting with associates and customers.
**Operations**:
- Lead by example, motivating staff in selling skills, store cleanliness, health and safety, dress code, and compliance.
- Accountable for all shipping, receiving, and E-commerce fulfillment functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Execute and validate the 6 Success Factors in the backroom, prioritizing efficient workflows and maintaining the SFS queue under 75, with Door to Floor achieved within 24 hours.
- Responsible for all internal audit compliance surrounding the shipping/receiving and Ecomm fulfillment functions.
- Maintain inventory integrity, managing the flow of products in and out of the store and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Support the business needs by stepping in as Manager on Duty (MOD), assisting on the sales floor, or providing exceptional customer service..
**Leadership, Accountability & Team Development**:
- Foster a culture of engagement and accountability by creating an inclusive team environment where roles and responsibilities are clear.
- Lead by example, setting high expectations for the team in terms of energy, effort, and attitude, ensuring all team members are 'Game Ready' each day.
- Coach, develop, and mentor your team, sharing best practices and guiding them through continuous learning.

**Inventory Management and Compliance**:
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring proper replenishment and merchandising to meet sales targets.
- Control inventory shortages by adhering to loss prevention practices and ensuring accurate stock management.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all team members by ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
**What You Offer**:
- 3 - 4 years of retail management experience.
- 1 - 3 years of previous experience in receiving is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
