What will you do?
- Administrative support assisting the Financial Services Department with distribution of confidential correspondence, reports, statistics, forms, documents, mailings, accounts payable, notices and related material.
- Accounts payable processing invoices, statement reconciliation, expenditures and petty cash transactions
- Process bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees in compliance with multiple collective agreements using electronic time and attendance program. Facilitate ROE requests, OMERS Pension buy-backs, reporting, remittances, annual reconciliation and annual T4 preparation.

What do you bring?
- College diploma in Business or Payroll Administration and/or other relevant education and related accounting experience.
- One to three-years of accounting experience in a municipal setting preferred, specifically in payroll (unionized and non-unionized organization employing at least 500 individuals (preferred)) and accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
- Successful completion of Canadian Payroll Association course would be a strong asset (Canadian Payroll Association certification in good standing) (Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel and Sage Accounting. Ability and willingness to learn and operate various in-house computer systems i.e. Laserfiche, Ceridian Dayforce and Staff Schedule Care is preferred.
- Advanced skills in accurately performing detailed numerical computations; analysis and interpretation of financial data and reports.
- Experience with OMERS reporting is a strong asset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and accurately to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated and established competencies surrounding accountability, collaboration, leadership and respect.
- Advanced and professional experience in front line customer relations in both telephone and face-to-face encounters.
- Experience processing and tracking accounts payable/receivable in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week
**Closing Date**: Friday February 7, 2025 by 4:30pm.
