**Summary**

We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at Synthane Taylor. In this role, you will support the operations manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficiency across various processes. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our high standards of production and service.

**Responsibilities**

Key Responsibilities:

- **Operations Support**:
Assist with operations daily tasks, including preparing and managing production schedules, maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules, organizing meetings with operations employees, and maintaining communication with employees and management.
- **Planning and coordination**:
Coordinate with sales team to prepare production schedule and ensure on time delivery.

Coordinate with other department and outside service providers to ensure timely preventive maintenance activities are done with mínimal impact on operations.

Control usage of tools and coordinate with purchasing to maintain tools inventory level.
- **Process Improvement**:
Identify and implement strategies to enhance operations processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Identify and suggest training topics and prepare training material.
- **Budget Management**:
Assist in developing and managing operational budgets, ensuring expenses are within company guidelines.
- **Staff Leadership**:
Provide guidance, training and support to operations staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures. Responsible of accuracy of time sheets and reports repetitive unadvised absenteeism to management. Ensures training program is followed and continuously improve on it.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and prepare regular reports on operational performance indicators. Review non-conformance and help investigation on root cause analysis. Maintain employees training records up-to-date.
- **Collaboration**:
Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operations performance and customer satisfaction.
- **Inventory Management**:
Assist in managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, and coordinating with vendors and transporters.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, record keeping, and document preparation as requested by management. Any other related task.

**Deliverables**:

- Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Support the operations manager in developing and implementing operational strategies.
- Monitor production processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with different departments to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Help maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and performance.

**Requirements**:

- DEC or BAC in operations management with 3 years experience, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing industry. A relevant experience will also be considered.
- Technical background in the plastics manufacturing industry and CNC machines operations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with JoBboss ERP system is a plus.

- **Leadership and team management skills**: Guide and motivate staff to achieve organizational objectives.
- **Knowledge of operational processes**: Understand how operations work in the manufacturing industry, have a technical background to better understand the nature of operations.
- **Technical knowledge**: Knowledge of the use of measuring instruments, calibration of tools,
- **Experience with relevant software and systems**: Familiarity with ERP systems (JobBoss), CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft office (word, excel, power point, outlook).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $59,205.00-$63,936.00 per year
