**WHAT WE DO**:

- The Rockstar Games HR Team is responsible for empowering our employees to reach their greatest potential and create the ground-breaking games we're known for.
- We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive strategies of engagement, wellbeing, operations, and learning & development.
- We collaborate as a global HR team to develop new initiatives and programs to bring out the best in our teams.
- We ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive working environment through guidance, compliance, and leading by example.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Act as point of contact on day-to-day employee questions.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including background screenings, first-day logistics, WFH between new hires and internal teams (IT/Workplace Services).
- Conduct new hire orientation presentations.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed with the Global HR Operations and Learning and Development teams.
- Support and coordinate a variety of global team engagement and wellness initiatives by implementing locally.
- Manage timekeeping/time management such as vacation days to ensure compliance with company best practices and Ontario labour law.
- Review employee expenses and coordinate the payment of invoices with Finance.
- Attend safety committee meetings.
- Support Office Admin and Workplace Services team as needed.
- Assist and coordinate special studio specific projects as needed such as event planning.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's Degree in HR or relevant field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years HR support experience.
- Solid understanding of key HR processes.
- Passion for Rockstar and our games.

**SKILLS**:

- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and communication tools.
- An intrinsic sense of ownership, initiative, and drive.
- Confidentiality, diplomacy, and commitment to the needs of Rockstar employees are essential.
- Effectively manage time and be adaptable to shifting priorities.

**PLUSES**:

- Global HR experience with large matrix environments.
- Previous HR experience within the Creative Industries - video games, film, television, music - would be beneficial.
- Experience with Workday.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Background in payroll and benefits.
