**Role Overview**:As an Art Lead at DoubleJump, you will lead be responsible for leading a team of skilled artists and animators, ensuring that their talents are harnessed to produce engaging game content and executing a creative vision from design, through concept, to final production. Collaboration, leadership, and a keen eye for detail are essential to excel in this role.
- Lead a team of artists and animators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and guidance to the team throughout the art production process.
- Utilising understanding of the art and game development pipeline, identify the assets required to fulfil the needs of a game design document and disseminate these requirements to an art team in a clear manner.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and visually appealing game experiences.
- Generate and communicate innovative art concepts, style guidelines, and visual references for various projects.
- Manage project timelines and allocate resources effectively to meet production milestones and deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of artistic styles and technical skills.
- Proficiency with 2D graphics software (Photoshop, Clip Studio) and 2D skeletal animation software (Spine preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and drive collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements.
- A familiarity with gaming and a keen eye for detail when it comes to visual aesthetics.
- (Between EST-PST time-zone preferred)

**About the project**

We're working with the hit social deduction game Among Us. This role will involve creating new game modes within the structure of Among Us, requiring new characters, environments, abilities and exciting features.
