We are seeking a passionate and skilled **Art Instructor** to lead visual arts classes and workshops for children and youth in AOMA this summer.

This is a **Canada Summer Jobs funded position**, with the possibility of contract extension based on performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach foundational and advanced techniques in drawing, painting, and mixed media.
- Create and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans for students aged 5-18.
- Support students in developing artistic skills and self-expression.
- Prepare students for art contests or school portfolio submissions.
- Contribute to art exhibitions and end-of-program showcases.

**Qualifications**:

- Background in fine arts or art education (students or recent grads welcome).
- Experience working with youth in an educational or camp setting.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching.

**Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility**:

- Age **15 to 30** at the start of employment.
- **Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person** under IRPA.
