Class 1 Truck Driver/trade Show Installer

The **Trade Show Installer/Class 1 Truck Driver** position will be an integral part of our Saint John operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Load and transport of items from warehouse to event site and returning items to warehouse following the event
- Develop a basic understanding of the material handling process (how freight moves from our warehouse to even facilities, and so on)
- Load and unload equipment and freight by hand or using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Install trade shows and other event rentals, including pipe and drape, carpet, furniture, signage, and so on
- Ensure all installed equipment is left clean, presentable and in working order for clients
- When onsite, answer any exhibitor or client questions or direct them to someone within the organization who can help
- Maintain a positive attitude toward coworkers and clients

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 Drivers Lisence
- At least 2 years of expereince driving Class 1 vehicles
- Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative team environment made up of installers and management.
- Experience juggling multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to function and maintain a professional attitude under tight deadlines and long work hours.
- Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to travel, work long hours, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
- Must be able to carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Forklift training and experience. (considered an asset)
- Carpentry skills and experience. (considered an asset)
- Electrical knowledge and experience. (considered an asset)

- Saint John, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Class 1 Truck Driving: 2 years (preferred)
