**P&B Transport** is a growing transportation and logistics service provider, specializing in next-day delivery service to the north eastern United States, and dedicated to achieving total customer satisfaction with every shipment.

**We are hiring Class 1 Drivers for City. If you are in Montreal, Canada and authorised to work in Canada, please apply.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy machinery
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, including maintaining a safe following distance and obeying speed limits
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks, bills of lading, and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a commercial setting
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts or cranes, is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

**Skills**:

- Proficient in operating commercial trucks and navigating various road conditions
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to truck driving
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and sitting for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and other team members effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
