Hiya We are looking to hire a bread assistant. No experience needed, however it’s a bonus if you’ve worked in a kitchen before We do all natural sourdough bread and pastries made with whole grain flours milled in house. We can educate you with any further sourdough baking information that you will need to be successful. This entry level position is part-time with the potential of more hours and the promotion to "Head Bread Baker" if you do well. Raises given based on performance. We are looking for someone to grow with us Hours: Subject to change depending on weekly production needs and seasons. We are also pretty flexible Wednesday: 6:00am - 2:00pm Thursday: 3:00am - 11:00/12:00pm Friday: 3:00am - 11:00am **As a Bread Assistant at TWGH, you will;** - Meet daily production requirements with head bread baker/TWGH owner - Be willing to follow our system for bread baking/dough making - Properly and safely use all equipment (Mixers, Oven, etc.) - Clean, do dishes, restock and maintain the bakery with the rest of our team - Complete mise en place so each shift is set up for success - Occasionally help the pastry team/FOH team **To join our team, you’ll need**: - The ability to work early mornings - A reliable mode of transportation (a car), we are not on a bus route - Possess organization and time management skills - The ability to lift more than 50LBS and operate our bread loader eventually (must be able to push loader above your head up to 6" feet in height) - To be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per shift (30 minute paid break) - Ability to self-manage and problem solve - The ability to speak, read and write fluently in English **Perks: Staff dinners on us, free bread/pastries while you’re working and a fun environment** **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 25 per week **Salary**: From $17.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay COVID-19 considerations: Ability to commute/relocate: - London, ON N5Z 3M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Language**: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (required) Shift availability: - Day Shift (required) Work Location: One location
