Wellness Program Coordinator

**Location**: 254 Lakewood Blvd and work from home required
**Reports to**: Program Manager
**Position Length: 8 weeks (July 2 - August 27, 2025)**
**Number of Positions**: 1
**Position Summary**
We are seeking a dynamic, multi-tasking, and personable student to help our growing charity. This role is ideal for someone who thinks independently, excels in a team environment, pays attention to detail, and is passionate about making a positive impact.
**Program Coordinator Responsibilities**:
- Program Coordination: assist in managing and promoting group fitness programs for individuals with a progressive disease.
- Handle program registration and class setup & cleanup.
- Aid participants in group fitness classes and demonstrate instructions.
- Support safe movement during classes.
- Conduct research into future programs.
- Fundraising Support: Collaborate with a supervisor to plan and promote fundraising events. Organize logistics and participant coordination.
**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
- Currently a college or university student
- Education in program planning, data collection, and program evaluation
- Proficient with Google Suite, Acrobat and basic administrative tools
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
**Assets**:
- Basic experience with program or event coordination
- Experience working with people with disabilities and an awareness of disability-related issues
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
