Alwington Communities Condominium Cleaner

The primary objective of the Condominium Cleaner position is to create a high level of resident and community satisfaction, by providing everyday housekeeping services for all of common element areas in a safe and efficient manner. The condominium cleaner works as a part of the Property services team, and will have frequent contact with residents and parents, requiring courteous and friendly interactions.
- Provide regular housekeeping services in all the common areas of all multi-suite apartment buildings. Wiping all entrances door handles, elevator buttons and gym equipment.
- Vacuum and mop all common element areas floors
- Clean party room / rooftop patio after each booking.
- Keep all the common element areas clean and tidy.
- Specific tasks including:
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Vacuuming (Stairs, bathrooms, hallways, and mats)- Cleaning and sanitizing thoroughly bathrooms and kitchens
- Checking Fire Alarms
- Cleaning light fixtures
- Cleaning out dryer vents
- Wiping down stair rails, vents, elevator buttons and all hard surfaces
- Interior and exterior cleanup as needed
- Washing rags
- Frequent bending and other physically active work
- Carrying of supplies and equipment
- Delivery notices to units
- Occasional outdoor work
- Other duties as required.
- Performance of regular interior and exterior inspections of the property to identify and report on deferred maintenance or damages requiring repair, potential lease violations or other inappropriate activity.
- Establish an inventory of cleaning supplies and monitor supplies on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Reach out to resident if the resident is violent the rules of corporation
- Assist contractors on site to perform the service
- Computer data entry
- Write action required reports when required, and input into spreadsheets, submit expenses, claims, and work orders.
- Always represent the company’s best interest, maintaining positive and professional demeanor, and adhering to Core Values and Behaviors.
- Work as part of a team and take direction.
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and use of proper PPE.
- Follow all standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, while ensuring that property is not damaged in the process.
- Maintain and care for company provided equipment, tools, and suite access keys and codes.
- Proficiently and safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals provided, as directed by management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Condominium Manager.
