**Job Overview**:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible to work with other members of our team to help resolve and perform routine maintenance on our equipment and buildings. You will assist and identify problem areas and work to address them with other members of our team to keep our facility running effectively.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, buildings, and capital projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Maintain electronic maintenance records, spare parts inventories, and assist with preventative maintenance scheduling with internal & external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot equipment on the production floor in the event of a breakdown.
- General maintenance of the company shops & offices including minor carpentry, painting, and mechanical work.
- Identify problem areas and address them with permanent solutions.

**What You Bring**:

- Strong safety culture & daily practices.
- Mechanically inclined, with general facilities maintenance experience
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes.
- MS Office skills preferably in Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to make decisions based on best safety & operational practices.
- Experience with production machinery and equipment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Relevant trade qualification/training would be considered an asset.
- Ability to weld. (TIG, MIG, and Stick). Would be considered an asset.
- Forklift Operator experience preferred but not required
- Preference given to a Millright
