**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any concerns to the supervising staff.
- Support clients with dementia care by implementing appropriate strategies to manage symptoms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in patient care and caregiving.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and hospice care principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Certification in medication administration or willingness to obtain certification is desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

- Day shift
- Evening shift
