Respite Provider

**Contract Opportunity**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Worker to join our CPLF team

As a Respite provider, you will work directly with a female adult with a disability Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) Support Workers facilitate participation in recreational and social activities, supporting personal growth and community involvement, and ensuring overall well-being of people with disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals in our community. **Job Requirements**:

- Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the past two years)
- Must be empathetic and patient individual
- Experience working in the field is an asset, especially with complex needs
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s class 5 license - _If hired, we require two million in third party liability vehicle insurance_
- Valid First Aid (Level C) certification required within 3 months of hiring.
- If hired, we require General Commercial Liability Insurance

*Medication Administration Training, Crisis Prevention Intervention Training, Abuse Protocol Training, and Positive Behavior Support Training will be provided at cost.
