Westpro requires an **OPERATIONS LEAD** to join our Production Team at our manufacturing plant in Puslinch, Ontario
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage daily production and manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate the complete production and manufacturing of each project.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient manufacturing operations.
- Lead shop scheduling and expediting.
- Ensure adequate resources are in place to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Interpret engineering drawings, designs and specifications.
- Resolve technical issues on the shop floor.
- Review equipment test plans and assist with equipment testing.
- Ensure the profitability and sustainability of the production facility.
- Manage and mentor the production team.
- Recruit, train and retain top talent to improve the performance to the production team.
- Ensure all employees have up-to-date health and safety training and the facility is run in accordance with corporate and governmental health and safety policies.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 10+ years experience in heavy metal fabricating and large machine assembly.
- 5+ years experience in an operations management role.
- Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree.
- PEng. an asset.
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Must be familiar with GD&T.
- Experience in AutoCad/SolidWorks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Project.
- Proven and efficient scheduling methods.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

Full time position.
Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Extended Medical Benefits
**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
