**Westpro Machinery Inc.** is an innovative Canadian company with an experienced engineering team that designs and manufactures mineral processing equipment. We have a global presence and over 37 years of experience in the mining industry with worldwide manufacturing capabilities and equipment installations in over 20 countries.

**Westpro** requires an **Operations Lead** who has proven success in a similar roll to manage the technical side of our manufacturing facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the technical production support, technical personnel, and scheduling.
- Ensure the profitability and sustainability of the production facility
- Manage and mentor existing technical production staff
- Recruit, train and retain top talent to improve the performance of the production team
- Ensure adequate shop resources are in place to complete projects on time and on budget
- Lead shop scheduling and expediting
- Interpret engineering drawings, designs and specifications
- Resolve technical issues on the shop floor
- Review equipment test plans and assist with equipment testing
- Ensure all employees have up-to-date health and safety training and the facility is run in accordance with corporate and governmental health and safety policies

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years experience in heavy metal fabricating and large machine assembly.
- Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree.
- PEng. an asset
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings.
- Must be familiar with GD&T.
- Experience in AutoCad/SolidWorks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Project.
- Versatile, highly motivated, self-starter, hands-on, effective planner, organized and works well with teams and independently.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

**Other**:

- Located in Puslinch, Ontario
- Full time position.
- Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
