**Job Details**

The Building Manager is the primary point of contact for building-related issues and emergencies. As a Building Manager, you'll serve the Strata Council and the Property Manager to help maintain the organization and security of the building.

**Available Shift**:

- Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (On-Call)
- Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM(On-Call)

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., lighting, painting, drywall, power washing, snow/ice removal).
- Support the property manager with notices, letters, and rule enforcement.
- Provide professional assistance to tenants and coordinate contractor work on site.
- Inspect the building regularly for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs.
- Manage security systems, including fobs, enter-phone codes, cameras, and fire panels.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment (e.g., generators, fire alarms).
- Monitor parking and assist with move-ins/move-outs.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in building management or a related role
- Hands-on skills in general maintenance (painting, cleaning, repairs, pressure washing)
- Experience coordinating trades and contractors
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
- Good judgment in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Flexible to respond to emergencies outside regular hours
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset
