Norellco Contractors is looking for a water and sewer Foreman to join our team.

Norellco Contractors is an Edmonton-based company servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our underground division has a strong reputation for successfully installing shallow and deep water, storm and sewer facilities in highly developed urban areas, and repairing existing infrastructure. A large portion of our projects are within the Edmonton area.

**Job Profile**:

- Communicate on a daily basis with site supervisor and coordinator to ensure production timelines are achievable and potential obstacles are mitigated by organizing additional resources or communicating delays with the client.
- Determine equipment and material needs on site and coordinate their delivery with the project coordinator and site superintendent.
- Determine labour composition and time requirements to complete the project.
- Ensure all projects comply with health and safety policies.
- Attend site meetings to ensure information is communicated to necessary parties.
- Work with the site supervisor and project coordinator to get accurate field information for billing and administration.
- Work with the site supervisor to identify any additional billings to the contract and communicate the information to the project coordinator to follow up.
- Work with the site supervisor to ensure deficiencies are remedied in a timely fashion and documentation is provided to the coordinator and office staff.

- Ability to read and understand construction contracts, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to enforce them.
- Periodic extended work hours may be required.

**Beneficial Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in underground construction or related fields in a Foreman’s role.
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract)
- Minimum Required safety training CSTS (2020), WHMIS (2015)
- Additional required safety training: Confined Space Entry/Monitor & Rescue, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance, LSE, First Aid, Rigging.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
