Evening Common Area Attendant
**Department**: Housekeeping/Operations
**Reports To**: Housekeeping Supervisor
**Shift**: Evening (Typically 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

**Position Summary**:
The Evening Common Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas of the hotel during evening hours, including the lobby, hallways, washrooms, and wellness spaces. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Strong communication skills and a basic understanding of pool and hot tub operations are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness of all public spaces including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and guest-facing areas
- Wipe down surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
- Clean and restock public washrooms throughout the evening shift
- Monitor and tidy pool and hot tub areas, including towels, debris, and water levels
- Perform basic checks of pool/hot tub conditions and report concerns to maintenance or front desk
- Ensure the fitness room and other shared spaces remain clean and organized
- Respond to guest requests and communicate clearly with front desk or housekeeping when support is needed
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Support evening team with light duties as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Basic understanding of pool and hot tub safety and operations (training provided)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Physically able to bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and remain on feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
