The Resident Attendant/UCP shall provide personal care and other services to residents in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Home.

**Schedule**:

- Evening: 2;30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (8-hour shift)
- Weekend availability.
- 6 shifts per pay period

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- 1333 Rideau Ferry Rd, Perth, ON K7H 3C7 : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).

**Must have Canadian Work Permit.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provides services and interacts with residents and resident family members in a professional manner.
- Complete schedule care services required from the resident and document the completion of the assistance and care provided.
- Participates as a member of the care team and provides support to the other members of the Services team; assist with feeding, toileting and ambulating residents.
- Provide bedtime routine care.
- Completes the food preparation for service the next day.
- Observes and adheres to all policies and procedures, work standards and safety regulations.
- Assists and attends to the care needs of the residents as required.
- Maintains work and storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
- Aware of employees and supervisor’s responsibilities and follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, co-workers, and residents.
- Is alert to, remedies, and promptly reports all actual or potentially hazardous situations.
- Wears personal protective equipment (or clothing) as required by the task, MSDS, or home policy.
- Other related duties as assigned, such as keeping resident rooms clean and tidy, folding their clothes, taking their temperature and weight.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
