**The Opportunity**: As a Product Project Expert, you’ll work closely with business users to understand and analyze their needs related to current and future systems, products, and processes. In collaboration with end users and the development team, you’ll recommend and implement solutions, while also providing user training and ongoing support.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Project Coordination - 70%**:

- Support the entire lifecycle of specific projects, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities.
- Develop, manage and control project schedules by updating and communicating timelines with the working team.
- Follow up on outstanding tasks, manage/mitigate risks in the project escalating issues if and when necessary.
- Leveraging ‘Stage-Gate’ approach to projects where applicable.
- Schedule meetings with internal groups and external vendors as needed.
- Facilitate meetings, document the minutes of the discussion, communicate in a timely manner, and follow up on actions for completeness prior to the next meeting.
- Assist in establishing a Project Charter for the specified project, defining the project's goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.
- Document project requirements and scope, project resources, and monitor the efforts of project team members.
- Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders and upward reporting to senior management.
- Conduct project postmortems to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.
- Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers such as consultants, contractors, and other specialists.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, and ROI calculations to determine project feasibility.
- Promote and use the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) for relevant projects.
- Perform other duties as required

**Product Solutions Development (30% of weekly time)**:

- Conduct interviews with business users to understand their situation and potential needs
- Analyze user feedback to define the problem that needs to be solved
- Create ideas to solve the identified problems and solicit user feedback on potential solutions
- Based on user feedback create solutions that can be tested with the end user until a user and business approved solution is created
- Act as the primary contact between business end users and product developers
- Investigate IT errors in consultation with programmers to test modifications and develop solutions prior to moving to production
- Partner with IT peers and team to provide training and assistance to business users including helping them understand the who, what, where, why, how and when functions and/or systems are not performing as expected
- Coordinate with project managers and change management teams on a variety of corporate projects that require IT solutions
- Develop and maintain process documentation for new system or product implementations

**What You Need To Be Successful In This Role**:
