We have an opportunity for a **Manufacturing Specialist **to join our team, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing team.

**Key Job Duties**:
**Assembly**
- Preparation of material and manufacturing of various assemblies
- Assembly of sensor pads, including but not limited to cutting, laminating, wiring and soldering
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve assembly related issues

**Programming and Test**
- Test and verification of sensors through the assembly process
- Loading of programs for sensor pads
- Final test and verification of sensors, subsystem components and overall systems
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve programming and test related issues

**Calibration and Verification**
- Calibrate standard and custom sensors
- Verify and approve completed calibrations
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve assembly related issues

**LEAN Manufacturing**
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain and assist in the establishment of Kanbans
- Contribute to a lean culture, through participation in meetings and initiatives

**Quality**
- Inspection of incoming materials to work cells
- In-process inspection in accordance with work instructions/quality control plans
- Work with other team members to resolve material related issues
- Track and record defect data
- Aid in implementing corrective action and root cause analysis

**Work Experience and Skills**
- 3-5 years in a an LEAN manufacturing environment
- 2-4 years in electronics and / or manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems
- Experience in an ISO17025, ISO9001 and/or ISO13485 certified environment considered and asset
- Hands on electronics test calibration and troubleshooting experience is an asset
- Experience with basic hand tools, adhesives, têxtiles, laminating, printing, wiring, crimping, soldering pneumatic equipment, laser cutters and lamination machines are all considered assets
- Computer and Microsoft software (Excel etc.) knowledge.

**Education**
- High School Diploma
- Post-Secondary education in the form of a Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Instrumentation and/or Manufacturing would be considered an asset

**Personal Characteristics**
- Organized with good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who has the ability to complete multiple tasks with mínimal supervision
- Can coach and train others
- Leads by example

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
