**Location**: Southwood Care Centre

**Position Type**:Temporary, Full Time (1.0 FTE)

**Hours of Work**: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

**Salary**:$18.80 - $24.32 depending on the experience

**Position Summary**:

- Assist in scheduling, preparing and implementing therapeutic programs which support Intercare’s philosophy of meeting the holistic needs of the customers, as directed.
- Maintain appropriate records of planned programs and attendance.
- Documents care, programs and interactions as required on the resident’s health care record.
- Participate in outings and other special events.
- Demonstrate respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner..

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of two years of experience in a Continuing Care setting is required.
- Preference is given to applicants with work experience related to cognitively impaired persons.
- Preference is given to applicants with training in programs related to rehabilitation, recreation, or nursing for healthcare workers.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined
