**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises as directed by the occupational therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately in compliance with medical standards.
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and home exercises to promote recovery.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively during documentation and communication with the healthcare team.

**Qualifications**
- Experience or knowledge in pediatrics and acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting patient progress.
