**Hours: Afternoon shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-2:30pm, Optional overtime Friday.**

**Must be able to train on days 7am-5pm temporary.**

As Quality/Production Lead Hand, the Employee’s key responsibilities will be to:

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate with production and QA supervisor
- Oversee day-to-day teams' operation and performance
- Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere
- Communicate and monitor employees quality and performance
- Listening to and addressing employee concerns, forwarding to production supervisor.
- Addressing any conflicts within the team that may arise
- Helping the Company in the development and implementation of procedures that improve efficiency and increase safety
- Assist in onboarding of new employees
- Perform standard quality assurance tests and record readings
- Perform the quality inspection functions and testing daily to assure product quality/safety and package integrity is within specifications
- Ensure employees follow the required food safety programs including GMP’s and HACCP plans
- Inspection and release of raw materials as needed and coordinate with Material Handler
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules, and all Company rules and policies

**Requirements and skills**
- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred
- Proven work experience as QA or team leader preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
