**SPIRITS PRODUCTION MANAGER**

Coldstream Clear Distillery continues to grow their home town operations and are looking to add a leader to their Spirits team. Are

The Spirits Production Manager at Coldstream Clear leads and performs many distilling, fermentation, and blending duties for the

spirits production team. While the role will be based in **Truro, NS**, with some travel required (10%). The Spirits Manager will lead a

small team (3-4) and manage the team and its production. The Spirits Manager will work alongside supply chain manager and spirits

packaging team. The Spirits Production Manager will be required to develop a strong knowledge of distilling to manage and direct

distillers and troubleshoot equipment when needed.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Strong communication skills to lead, coach and interact with co-workers in a safe and professional manner.
- Strong ability to work independently while following procedures as well at with in a team.
- Possess the ability to multi-task, agility in reaching targets within a fast paced and evolving work environment.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services and inventory control.
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
- Good understanding of quality assurance / quality control importance and systems.
- Proactive, initiative to problem solving, trouble shooting and continuous improvement
- Curious, a desire to learn, improve and implement

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coach the Spirits production team members
- Internalize, demonstrate and lead Coldstream Clear Values with in organization.
- Quality control/testing of products
- Successful planning and management of fermentation and distilling at distillery store locations,
- Independent execution of blending spirits recipes in preparation for packaging,
- Execute cleaning and maintenance schedule and procedures,
- Complete accurate inventory management practices,
- Ensure, through individual and team work, all products that leave the facility are of the highest quality, the facility is kept clean,

functional, and up to standards at all times.

**Education and Experience**:

- Team Leadership
- Commercial brewing, distilling, and/or beverage production experience considered a strong asset
- Education in Engineering, Engineering Technician, Millwright, or related technical field considered a strong asset
- Technical knowledge and/or experience with fluid dynamics, production or warehousing

**Special Requirements**:

- Ability to work a flexible schedule: Monday
- Friday days starting at 7-8:00AM, (35-40hrs/wk.) with possibility of some weekend

days.
- Valid Driver's License, and clean driving record.
