We are looking for a talented and committed individual to join us as a Data Analytics Product Delivery Specialistto support the government’s efforts to protect the environment and advance a new economy in which all waste is reused, recycled, and reintegrated.

**DATA ANALYTICS PRODUCT DELIVERY SPECIALIST**

The Data Analytics Product Delivery Specialist is responsible for supporting RPRA’s operations and programs, including public reporting, by generating evidence-based insights, providing recommended data analysis projects to support decision-making, and designing and preparing sophisticated reports and dashboards. This position leads end-to-end project and product delivery for RPRA’s data team, liaising and working collaboratively with all RPRA departments to determine business requirements, achieve alignment on project parameters, and deliver useful and effective data products and/or data-driven recommendations.

**Practically speaking, you will**:

- Lead end-to-end data project delivery to internal clients (e.g., RPRA’s compliance or finance departments):

- Act as lead liaison between RPRA departments and the data team, identifying and documenting business requirements for new and existing data analytics, datasets, and reporting projects.
- Design and implement solutions that meet business needs, working closely with the data team and the RPRA IT team to ensure that data solutions are aligned with the business requirements
- Perform data analyses on both quantitative and qualitative data relating to various organizational functions and programs, including data obtained through RPRA’s registries, internal operational data, and external data relevant to RPRA’s mandate
- Utilize advanced statistical methods and analytical techniques to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, trends, and correlations and extract actionable insights
- Design and create comprehensive reports and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders, including the public via RPRA’s website
- Mentor and train less experienced team members to drive effective and efficient data analysis processes and data product delivery
- Work with RPRA departments to develop and maintain data dashboards, models and reports to support business decision-making
- Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in data analytics and reporting and identify opportunities to incorporate new approaches and/or technologies into our work
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in our analytics and reporting by identifying and resolving data quality issues as needed

**Qualifications**

**Education**
- Post-secondary education in data science, engineering, statistics, business, economics or a related field

**Experience**
- 4-6 years in data analysis and project/product delivery roles
- Experience in leadership roles an asset
- Data storytelling skills
- Proven expertise in advanced data analysis and modeling and statistical methodologies
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and R
- Proven expertise in Power BI or other advanced data visualization software
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure environment - experience with Microsoft Fabrics considered a significant asset
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office. Specifically, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis (including VBA)
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM is considered a significant asset
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) with proven working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; demonstrated ability to work in a team and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory environments and/or extended producer responsibility is an asset

**Travel Requirements**
- Occasional, as required, primarily GTA and/or Ontario.
