Labourer ll - Facility Services
**Job Duties**:
Perform general labor duties including,
Assist with furniture assembly, setup and moving.
Assist with cleaning, janitorial and support for custodian coordinator.
Wall, floor, and ceiling painting.
Assist in minor carpentry work.
Assist in file box coordination.
Parts/Supplies pick up deliveries.
General facility maintenance where applicable.
Facilities shop cleanup and support.
Other related duties.
Participate in discussions, communicate with supervisor, and make recommendations where necessary regarding work assignments.
Complete special projects as required.
Adhere to the Workers’ Responsibilities and Accountabilities as outlined in the Sturgeon County Health & Safety Management System.
**Job Skills**:
Must work effectively and efficiently with others and alone, be punctual, communicate openly, take direction well and show initiative. Work is performed on work sites within the county. Work may be performed in extreme temperatures or high levels of noise. Physical job requirements: Occasional lifting and carrying 23kg or more, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, exposed to outdoor conditions, exposed to dust and fumes, and being near equipment.
**Job Qualifications**:
Physically able to perform the required labour activities and possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. Having basic facility understandings and organizational experience is an asset.
Labourer ll - Fleet Services
**Job Duties**:
Perform general labor duties including,
Parts & Supplies pickup /delivery as required.
Unit shuttling to vendors
Unit detailing
Shop cleaning and organizing
Stock room cleaning/organizing.
Assist technicians as required and where applicable.
Participate in discussions, communicate with supervisor, and make recommendations where necessary regarding work assignments.
Complete special projects as required.
Adhere to the Workers’ Responsibilities and Accountabilities as outlined in the Sturgeon County Health & Safety Management System.
