**Corporate Event Planner**

Here at Maximus Solutions, we help businesses achieve their goals, dreams and beyond. We strive to give our clients the best consultancy and project management tools so that business owners can run their businesses successfully and the way they want to. We are looking for a Corporate Event Planner to help with launches, campaigns, as well as other events for a variety of clients. Currently we are looking to find someone to help plan a launch party for a restaurant however other opportunities may arise in the future.

Key tasks of this position will be:

- Scouting and inspecting locations
- Managing vendor relationships and client communications
- Managing budgets
- Coordinating event logistics and services
- Making sure event stays within guidelines

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 year event planning experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service experience
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Able to work effectively both with others and alone
- Able to manage multiple issues at the same time
- Proficient with Microsoft systems
- Able to coordinate in a timely manner
- Excellent at meeting deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance

**Salary**: $15.00-$37.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- event planning: 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
