- Ability to assist stores through peak food-retail periods
- Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent is required
- Experience managing grocery retail businesses is preferred
- Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assist Produce Director in the creation of product and program initiatives including planograms, product assortment, SKU rationalization
- Maintain existing, company-wide Produce programs and procedures
- Manage the sourcing, purchasing, price costing, and logistics of produce products
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential vendors
- Work with Marketing to develop weekly advertisements for seasonal promotions and unique products
- Provide store Produce Management teams support to:

- Achieve weekly, segment, and yearly targets (sales, budget, productivity, shrink etc.)
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Resolve inventory and operational issues promptly
- Implement product recall procedures
- Assist Store Managers in the selection and training of new Produce Managers
- Conduct regularly scheduled store visits to provide assistance and ensure compliance with operational standards & procedures
- KPIs: Production costs, labour utilization, in-store program results
- Reports to the Produce Director

**Position Details**:

- Position Type: Full Time
- Work Environment: In-Person, Stony Plain Operations Office
- Travel: 40-60% (company vehicle provided and expenses covered)
- Salary Range: $60,000 - 65,000 annually
