**Position - Shipper (Kerrisdale Lumber Contractor Division)**
**Position Summary**
**Day-to-Day Tasks**:
- Dispatching drivers to deliver orders
- Communicating order priorities to the yard foreman to ensure orders are ready for delivery
- Coordinating with purchasing and sales teams to arrange for incoming goods shipments if needed
- Proactively updating order status to clients if delays occur
- Communicating with the sales team to provide them with critical delivery information
- Checking orders for accuracy prior delivery
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Someone who works well in a team environment
- Able to lift heavy objects (~50lbs)
- Comfortable using computers
- Forklift experience preferred
