The Shipper is a vital member of the warehouse team, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring that shipments are processed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. The Shipper will maintain precise records of all shipments, oversee the packing and labeling of products, and coordinate with logistics to facilitate smooth transportation operations. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to support overall warehouse productivity.

**Shift Time**:

- Some weekends and holiday work may be required from time-to-time.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Accountable for the accurate and timely shipment of orders
- Utilize an ERP and WMS system to manage all aspects of outgoing shipments, including tracking, preparing packing slips, and generating labels for shipped goods.
- Prepare items for shipment by utilizing shipping and scale software to select the most cost-effective courier service.
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments while preparing items for shipment by ensuring all items are accurately received, promptly checked for completeness, and in good condition.
- Ensure all freight bills are reviewed and signed off, documenting any damages, overages, or shortages, and investigate any shipping discrepancies.
- Process all paperwork for exporting shipments, ensuring that no products leave the premises without the necessary documentation.
- Keeping the areas organized and ensuring housekeeping is maintained.
- Assisting in training new team members in shipping and receiving activities as required.
- Maintain inventory for shipping material (perform weekly checks).

**SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**- **This role will be cross-trained in various warehouse tasks to ensure coverage for departmental needs and support the company's growth initiatives.
- Performing other WH related duties as may be required from time to time:

- Picking Orders
- Cycle Counts
- Bin to Bin Transfers
- Internal Replenishment (IR’s)
- Rotate Overstock
- Production Receiving
- Put Aways
- Receiving
- Knowledge of and experience working with reach forklifts and pickers or willing to learn

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 1+ years of experience in a shipper role.
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Physically capable of lifting to 50+lbs on a continual basis. Comfortable working in a cool (winter) and warm (summer) environment.
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
- A team player who is professional, with demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable around Pets.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
