Maple Leaf Place, a 20,000 square foot one-stop-shop attraction, souvenir store, and food court has been serving international tourists in Niagara Falls for over 30 years. We are excited about the new expansions and renovations completed to the store this year, including the newest attraction in Niagara Falls, The Maple Trail.

At this time we have one seasonal position for a shipping/receiving assistant at our onsite warehouse. The successful applicant would work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, during our busy business season (Spring to Fall).

**Duties**

Your main duties will include
- Checking stock to ensure product is received and in good condition
- Ensuring accurate selling prices are applied to orders received
- Affixing pricing stickers to stock
- Keeping inventory stock organized using a manual inventory system
- Performing inventory counts as required
- Filling stock orders for souvenir store and food court as needed
- Keeping work area clean, emptying garbage and cardboard containers
- Perform routine cleaning tasks: including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing warehouse floors to keep the workspace pristine.
- Regularly empty trash cans and recycling bins throughout the warehouse and remainder of property to ensure proper waste disposal and sustainability efforts.

**Skills Required**:

- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills

**Other Requirements**: Appropriate footwear (i.e. steel toed shoes) recommended.

Specific training will be provided for food service preparation, serving customers, proper clean-up procedures.

**Experience**:

- Store management: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
